Catalina's sexual cousin Lulo reveals her devious plan of marrying Reese to become an American citizen. I thought it would be a great idea to add a "green card romance" storyline into Salty Kiss- you don't really see that often in Japanese manga, and Salty Kiss is supposed to be about world exploration and sailing.

I really wish I could draw more outdoor scenery in Salty Kiss. Lulo is supposed to be at a pool in Brazil, I really enjoyed drawing tropical plants. Its too bad much of the comic takes place inside and on deck of the Amphrite ship, I'm just not good at drawing machines. It was very difficult for me to draw Casie's forklift and I didn't even do a good job of it.

I think they had something like this in one manga about an alien girl marrying a human, but can't seem to remember. Maybe, it was in To-Love-Ru.

Also, have you ever seen Rosario Vampire or Monster Musume. Those two anime are bizarre, yet hilarious.

@kman134: I've read the Monster Musume manga, I liked it a lot.

@ValisFan: In future chapters, you should add some supernatural references like Sirens. Since this is a high seas manga, there would be some strangeness lurking in the waters.

This isn't fanservice, I'm just throwing in ideas. Oh yeah, there's, also, a manga/anime series called "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", have you seen it? If not, you should definitely see it.

@kman134: Wow, its like your a mindreader. I was actually planning on making the next chapter about sea sirens trying to seduce Reese and kill him. Marilyn is actually supposed to be a paranormal investigator as well as the ship's scientist and doctor.

@ValisFan: That actually is a good idea, but how are you going to portray them? Like mermaids or like regular girls dressed in revealing togas?

Also, Marilyn being a paranormal investigator would make sense on the count that she's always reclusive like John Constantine, except being a cynical, foulmouthed, anti-theist.

@kman134: The sea siren in the next chapter is going to look like a mermaid, not a Greek girl in a toga. The setting is still in the Pacific Ocean between California and Hawaii so it wouldn't make sense to put a Greek siren here.

@ValisFan: Yeah, it wouldn't make any sense, but a man can dream.
